Terrific article in today’s Wired about Apple’s recent lawsuit against the ThinkSecret website. The article raises a number of interesting questions, including whether the timing of the lawsuit was a deliberate attempt to increase awareness of the new product launches at Macworld, whether such a strategy might backfire (is it wise to sue your customers?) and ultimately whether there is more to the relationship between Apple and ThinkSecret than meets the eye. Inspirational quote: "For consumers, word-of-mouth is the most credible source of information," he said. "That’s why marketers are trying to mimic it."
